Sydney Sweeney as Cassie in 'Euphoria' season 3, episode 5.

Sydney Sweeney has been doing the most in Euphoria season 3, as fans have watched her character Cassie evolve from a stay-at-home-wife into an OnlyFans superstar. In episode 5, “This Little Piggy,” Cassie is shown filming content and, at one point, dreaming about her rapidly growing social media platform and rising fame.

In this dream, Cassie—wearing a low-cut cheetah print bodysuit—begins growing into a Godzilla-sized figure, towering over Hollywood as people flee in panic. At one point, Cassie peers through a window and catches a man touching himself to one of her X-rated videos. She then presses her breasts against the window, and the top of the bodysuit tears as the glass shatters under the pressure.

Euphoria fans have since slammed the scene online, with one writing on X, “Okay the so apparently show is just about fetishes with high schoolers.”

“This has got to be a humiliation ritual for Sydney Sweeney,” another X user said, adding that HBO probably “had to pay her good for that Godzilla reenactment🧍‍♂️ #euphoria.”

Aside from the fans, real-life OnlyFans models have taken issue with Cassie’s portrayal and content on the show. Throughout season 3, viewers have seen Cassie pose for photos in dog and baby costumes, and in episode 5, Cassie’s seen waking up every morning to make content, which includes sucking on her own toes, filming ASMR of her breasts rubbing together, and creating personalized videos for her male fans.

Sydney Leathers, an OnlyFans creator since 2017, told Variety in a May 10, 2026, report that there are a lot of elements in the show’s depiction of OnlyFans that come off as “ridiculous and cartoonish.”

“There’s so much that they have her doing that is not even allowed on OnlyFans, and that alone is infuriating: the age-play stuff where she’s dressed as a baby in a diaper, for example,” Leathers continued. “Credit card processors have very strict rules that you have to abide by, and the rules are getting stricter all the time.”

OnlyFans’ Acceptable Use Policy explicitly forbids any “illegal activity, including actual, claimed or role-played: exploitation, abuse or harm of individuals under the age of 18; incest; bestiality; necrophilia; rape or sexual assault; and any conduct that promotes terrorism.”

Adult actress and top OnlyFans creator Maitland Ward noted that the baby costume was especially harmful, arguing that it contributes to the negative perception of real-life OnlyFans creators.

“In the climate we’re in, that they dressed her up as a baby to make pornographic OnlyFans content was beyond troubling and again serves to perpetuate stereotypes that sex workers have no moral compass and that they will do anything for money,” Ward explained. “And there’s always this untrue stigma that somehow sex work is synonymous with sex trafficking and abuse. And they just said, let’s make a joke of it. That is so funny. I’m not laughing.”

Euphoria creator Sam Levinson has previously defended Cassie’s controversial OnlyFans storyline, telling The Hollywood Reporter in April 2026, “What we wanted to always find is the other layer of absurdity that we’re able to tie into it so that we’re not too inside of her fantasy or illusion—the gag is to jump out, to break the wall.”
