Taylor Swift Reportedly Wanted ‘No Part’ of Meeting Eugenie & Beatrice at Party as Source Reveals if She Was ‘Being Rude’ by Snubbing the Royals
Ahead of their rumored summer 2026 wedding, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce jetted off to London to attend Poppy Delevingne’s 40th birthday party, the older sister of Swift’s longtime friend Cara Delevingne. The guest list reportedly included plenty of high-profile names, including Princess Beatrice and Eugenie with their husbands, and the “Bad Blood” singer is said to have avoided them like the plague.
“Of course Eugenie and Beatrice would have loved to meet Taylor,” one source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack. “But Taylor was having absolutely no part of it.”
Swift is reportedly fully aware of the situation surrounding Beatrice and Eugenie’s parents, former Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, and she “chose to steer clear” of them to avoid any potential negative press.
“Taylor is one of the smartest celebrities in the world when it comes to protecting her image,“ another insider explained. “She didn’t want photographs, headlines, or even casual gossip linking her to royal controversy and Jeffrey Epstein.”
They continued, “This wasn’t Taylor being rude. She was polite to everyone, but she knows exactly what stories she wants attached to her name—and this wasn’t one of them.”
Throughout the party, Swift stayed close to her NFL superstar fiancé and a tight-knit group of close friends. “They were relaxed, affectionate, and very careful about who they interacted with,” one alleged guest told Shuter.
Andrew and Fergie have faced intense public backlash for their connection with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The ex-prince was arrested on Feb. 19, 2026, on suspicion of misconduct in public office, which can be linked to Epstein.
Reports tied to the Epstein files allege that Andrew previously shared confidential documents with Epstein. Andrew’s since been stripped of his royal duties and titles, and was evicted from his home at Royal Lodge.
