Beatrice Reportedly Considering a ‘Bandaid Baby’ to Save Her Marriage Amid Eugenie Pregnancy News—Her Sister ‘Thinks It’s a Mistake’
Ever since Andrew was arrested for suspicion of misconduct in public office and his ex-wife Fergie, was mentioned in the Epstein files, the focus for royal watchers has been on their two daughters. Sure, people are still interested in what will happen to Andrew and Fergie, but that interest has extended to the two princesses. Will they stand by their parents? Will they distance themselves? What’s next for them?
When it comes to Eugenie, we already know the answer: a new baby. But what about Beatrice? The two sisters were recently spotted together out in Mayfair, and though, according to The Mirror the two looked “in great spirits as they made the most of the sunshine,” body language experts claim there’s cause for concern.

Judi James told the outlet that while Eugenie appeared “comfortable putting on a display of resilience and bravado for the cameras”, Beatrice was “less able to bluff it out.”
“Beatrice walks behind her sister here, dressed in a very drab black on a warm sunny day, with her choice of outfit suggesting a desire to avoid attracting attention,” she explained. “She has her large bag clamped to the front of her body in a barrier gesture, with one hand held over the front of the bag suggesting a desire to self-protect. In another photo she has her arms folded over her torso which could also be a sign of vulnerability.
“Her facial expression looks strained and unhappy here,” the expert went on. “Her eyes have a haunted expression, and her lips are clamped shut.”
All of this comes after The Daily Mail recently reported that Eugenie has “cut off” her father and is “refusing to speak to Andrew and did not visit him at Christmas.” Beatrice, meanwhile, “is trying to walk the fine line of not cutting her father off and yet remaining close with the Royal Family. They aren’t exactly in regular and close contact at the moment, but Eugenie isn’t trying to walk that line. She’s not speaking to him.”
Woman’s Day had also recently reported that Beatrice is “worried about her marriage,” per NowtoLove, and has started wondering whether a new baby would help save her marriage. “Beatrice is fast turning into the queen of denial and this plan is no exception,” the source said.
However, Eugenie is reportedly not on board. “Eugenie thinks it’s a mistake to bring another baby into that situation and she should work things out with Edo before blindsiding him with something like this,” the insider said.
“It’s true he’d never walk out on his pregnant wife, but pinning all her hopes on a bandaid baby could make an already tense situation worse,” they added.
Family worries are not the only thing the sisters have to contend with, as some experts have started pointing fingers at them amid the Epstein fallout. Royal expert Andrew Lownie told the BBC in February, per Newsweek, “They weren’t five-year-old girls when they were taken to see Epstein. They were grown-ups. There’s a big campaign to say they are innocents caught up in the shellfire, but they’re not, they’re deeply involved.”
