Blake Lively is hoping to put the Justin Baldoni drama to rest once and for all. The actress, who settled with the Baldoni camp before the trial, complete with an admission that everything she’d claimed was true, recently attended the Met Gala in an archival Versace with a very long train. And if that dress wasn’t enough to turn heads, she’s reportedly already got another one picked out.
That’s right, Rob Shuter is saying that Lively has already picked her dress for Taylor Swift’s wedding. The two have been friends for years, though they reportedly had a falling out after Swift ended up in the middle of the back and forth between Baldoni and Lively over what happened on the It Ends With Us set.

“Blake genuinely believes there’s still a path back,” one insider told the gossip columnist. “Now that the legal mess is over, she thinks the hardest part is behind her and there’s real hope they can move forward.”
And reportedly, she’s always been confident. “Just like she had her Met Gala dress ready, she already has a dress picked out for Taylor’s wedding,” a source said. “That’s how convinced she was — and still is — that this friendship can be saved.”
The Hollywood insider says Lively isn’t just expecting everything to go back to normal, but she’s confident there’s a way forward. “She knows not everything snaps back overnight,” another source said. “But Blake believes removing the chaos changes everything. She thinks once the noise is gone, there’s room for real healing.”
Reports indicate there was no money involved in the settlement between Baldoni and Lively. Per TMZ, part of the statement read, “We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard. We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments.”
The statement went on to add, “It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”
It’s a pretty positive outcome for Lively, who had claimed workplace improprieties from Baldoni and alleged she was the subject of an online smear campaign from Baldoni’s camp as retaliation. And it seems to support the latest reporting from Rob Shuter, who, even before the settlement, was already alleging that Lively was sure she’d be invited.
“Blake is totally optimistic,” one source told Shuter in April. “She’s acting like the invite is already in the mail.”
“She keeps going back to the beginning,” the insider explained then. “She was around when Taylor and Travis first got together — she feels like part of their story.”
Back when this was first reported, however, sources also told the Hollywood insider it wasn’t a done deal. “There’s a lot of baggage right now,” a source said. “And Taylor is being incredibly careful about her guest list.”
Now, there’s a lot less baggage. Does that mean we’ll see Lively at the Swift/Kelce wedding?
