Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have finalized a settlement.

On Monday, May 4, 2026, attorneys representing both parties released a joint statement confirming the deal. “The end product—the movie It Ends With Us—is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life,” the statement read, per TMZ. “Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors—and all survivors—is a goal that we stand behind.”

“We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard. We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments,” the statement continued. “It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”

TMZ reported that no money’s being exchanged between Lively and Baldoni.

This comes after Lively alleged she lost $161 million due to what she described as a smear campaign led by Baldoni at the time of It Ends With Us‘ release.

According to legal documents obtained by People, Lively alleged that she lost significant income from acting, speaking, producing, and appearances. She claimed over $56 million in lost earnings and $71 in business profits linked to her companies: Betty Booze, Blake Brown Beauty, and Betty Buzz. Lively also cited $34 million in alleged reputational damages “based on an estimated 65 million negative impressions about her generated on social media.”

Baldoni and Lively’s legal war began in December 2024, when Lively sued the It Ends With Us director over alleged sexual harassment on set. Baldoni vehemently denied the accusations and later countersued for $400 million, but that case was thrown out in June 2025.

In April 2026, a judge dismissed several of Lively’s claims, including sexual harassment and defamation, which resulted in Baldoni being removed as a defendant in the suit.
