Rihanna Finally Arrives at Met Gala After Addressing Rumors She Was Announcing Her 4th Pregnancy on the Red Carpet

Per tradition, Rihanna marked the end of the 2026 Met Gala red carpet as the last attendee to arrive at the event and pose for photographs on the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s iconic steps.
For the 2026 Met Gala, which marked Rihanna‘s 12th event, the singer wore a sculptural metallic dress with bejeweled makeup. She attended the Met Gala with her boyfriend and the father of her three kids, A$AP Rocky, who served as a chair for the 2025 event.

While Rihanna used the 2025 Met Gala to debut her baby bump, the Fenty Beauty founder didn’t have the same personal news to announce at the 2026 event, despite rumors that she was pregnant with her fourth child. “🤔 is the baby in the womb with us?” Rihanna commented under an Instagram video posted by the account @everybodyhatekrissy, which included a photo of the star’s past baby bump.
Rihanna and Rocky share three kids: sons RZA Athelston Mayers, born in 2022, and Riot Rose Mayers, born in 2023, and daughter Rocki Irish Mayers, born in 2025. While she isn’t pregnant, Rihanna did hint that she wanted a fourth baby when she commented on former Love Island star Montana Rose’s Instagram video in January 2026. “Deciding to get hot and sexy or get pregnant in 2026,” Brown, who shares two children with her fiancé Mark O’Connor, wrote over a video of her appearing deep in thought over the dilemma. “Wait! So I’m not crazy then? Bet!” Rihanna commented.
A source told People in 2025 that Rihanna was “over the moon” to finally have a daughter after two sons. “She’s obviously so grateful for her boys — all three of them — but she’s been ready for some more girly energy,” the insider said. “She’s over the moon about her baby girl.”
“It’s already brought a whole new energy to the family,” the source continued. “She’s always dreamed of having a little girl. She’s been shopping a lot and is so excited about dressing her daughter. It’s a whole new world for her.”
Another insider added, “They love that RZA and Riot get to grow up with a little sister, all so close in age. Ri’s always wanted a big family, and she’s excited to do all the girl stuff. Rocky’s just been saying he feels lucky.”
