Camilla Sparks Feud Speculation with Melania After She Was Reportedly Caught ‘Ditching’ the FLOTUS’ Personal Gift to Her
The recent state visit from King Charles and Queen Camilla was supposed to go a long way towards repairing the relationship between the US and the UK. Trump has been very complimentary of the British royals, and King Charles and Queen Camilla have typically been very positive about the Trumps, too.
But now, a particular wardrobe decision by Queen Camilla is making people question how good the relationship truly is. According to RadarOnline, the queen wore a brooch that was a gift from the Trumps during the royal couple’s final White House visit. Very soon after, however, she was wearing a different one.

That’s right, as Charles and Camilla stopped by the White House to say goodbye to the Trumps, Camilla was seen wearing a Tiffany & Co. brooch valued at approximately $40,700. The brooch was a gift from the Trumps when they visited the UK in September 2025.
Later, as the Queen visited Arlington National Cemetery and a community block party celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States, she wore a Cartier brooch featuring the U.S. and U.K. flags, which was handed down to Camilla by Queen Elizabeth II. That particular brooch was made for Queen Elizabeth before her first state visit to the US in 1957.
Camilla wore that piece multiple times during the latest state visit, including as she arrived with Charles at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on the first day of their visit and then the two first arrived at the White House.
Astrology expert Tracy Higgs talked to The Irish Star about Melania’s possible reaction to Camilla replacing the brooch. “I personally feel there’s a mutual understanding between them when it comes to duty and public pressure. Neither woman strikes me as somebody who enjoys unnecessary drama, and both appear incredibly aware of image, presentation, and self-control.”
“When it comes to reports of Camilla apparently putting aside or ‘ditching’ Melania’s gift, Taurus personalities do tend to notice gestures and manners deeply — even if they never openly react to them,” she said, referencing Melania Trump’s astrological sign, which is Taurus.
“I don’t believe Melania would make a public issue of it, but internally she may well have seen it as lacking warmth or appreciation,” Higgs explained. “Taurus rarely forgets moments that feel dismissive, especially when effort, symbolism, or respect are involved.”
She was, however, convinced Melania Trump wouldn’t have made a big deal out of it.
“Melania’s energy also feels extremely controlled and diplomatic, so I think any feelings about it would remain very private,” Higgs added.
This all comes after reports that the two have a very good relationship, to the point that after Charles and Camilla’s trip, the Trumps invited Kate and Prince William to visit the US in summer 2026.
“Melania wants Catherine, in particular, to come,” a source told the Daily Mail. “She admires her greatly and would love her to visit.”
The two reportedly bonded when the Trumps were in the UK in September 2025, with a Kensington Palace source telling Hello! magazine, “You could very much see how warm and friendly they were after spending time together.”
