Jessica Biel Reportedly Threatened to Leave Justin Timberlake if He Didn’t ‘Clean Up His Act’—‘She’s Sick of Being Embarrassed’
Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have had their fair share of ups and downs, and it seems they’ve hit another rough patch.
According to RadarOnline, Biel has reportedly grown very frustrated with Timberlake, so much so that she’s allegedly given him an ultimatum: either he “cleans up his act,” or she’s officially walking away from their marriage.
Sources told the outlet that Biel is “fed up” and losing patience with the “Cry Me a River” singer’s behavior and the fact that he’s barely around to spend time with their sons, Silas and Phineas.
One source alleged that if Timberlake makes one more mistake, the 7th Heaven star will pack her things and leave him for good. “She does everything with the kids, and she’s sick of being publicly embarrassed,” the source said.
Insiders claim that Biel’s aggravation stems from Timberlake’s drinking habits, which have gotten him into trouble a few times over the years. In June 2024, he was arrested on DWI charges in Long Island, N.Y., and was issued two citations: one for running a stop sign and one for failure to keep in the lane. Timberlake eventually reached a plea deal, agreeing to plead guilty to a lesser offense.
“Justin is the kind of guy that when he’s out, has always had a drink in his hand,” another insider explained to RadarOnline. “Even back in his NSYNC prime, at his restaurant, on tour, he always liked to have a good time.”
Although unconfirmed, sources also believe Biel may still be upset by photos published by The Sun in 2019 of Timberlake being touchy with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright in New Orleans.
At the time, a source with direct knowledge told People that Timberlake and Wainwright’s encounter was “completely innocent,” adding, “It’s a balcony with a group of people and it was definitely nothing happening.”
Timberlake later took to Instagram and apologized to Biel for his actions. “I displayed a strong lapse in judgement—but let me be clear—nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better,” he wrote in the now-deleted post, per Elle.
“This is not the example I want to set for my son,” he continued. “I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be.”
