Ever since I learned that BTS, KATSEYE, and TWICE were all attending the 2026 American Music Awards, I’ve been on a desperate search for ways to watch the AMAs live online for free to catch what’s become one of the biggest nights in music. (Move over, Grammys.) And I think I’ve finally found the answer.
The 52nd annual American Music Awards will be held on May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Queen Latifah is set to host 31 years after she first co-hosted the show back in 1995. The AMAs will air on CBS, but if you don’t have cable (or, frankly, don’t want to pay for it), we’ve found ways to stream the show for free or cheap so you don’t miss your favorite K-pop and American pop stars taking the stage.
This year’s AMAs air on May 25 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on CBS.
Singer and actress Queen Latifah will host this year’s AMAs. She originally co-hosted the 22nd annual American Music Awards in 1995 with Welsh singer Tom Jones and country singer Lorrie Morgan.

Three special honors will also be given out at the 2026 AMAs, including the International Artist Award of Excellence to Karol G, the Lifetime Achievement Award to Billy Idol, and the Veterans Voice Award to Darius Rucker. Check out the nominees for the main four categories below.
