Taylor Swift & Kylie Kelce’s Feelings Toward Each Other Revealed as Sources Claim Travis’ Sister-in-Law Is ‘Not That Warm’
As anticipation builds for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding, some sources suggest that the pop star may not be particularly close with her future sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce.
Despite having a friendly bond, the two seemingly aren’t “super close.” One source told the Daily Mail in mid-May 2026, “They’re the same age but they just live such different lives. Kylie is four babies in. All of [Taylor’s] friends are rich and famous and Kylie’s juggling mom duties, like, “I just need to go change a diaper.”‘
Another insider reiterated this claim, noting that Swift and Kylie are in “different phases in life.”
There have even been rumors of a feud between the ladies, but multiple sources have shut those down and alleged that Swift and Kylie just have very different personalities.
“Kylie’s just not that warm so people think she’s standoffish,” one insider explained to the outlet. “She’s very much like Donna Kelce. Taylor is nothing like Donna.”
Kylie is also reportedly not a fan of fame, telling Kansas City outlet Spectrum Sports KC in November 2023 that it’s “not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of a camera.”
She revealed that she “was a communication major in college,” so she’s much more comfortable on the other side of the camera. “I love to be behind it, that’s my bread and butter,” Kylie added.
Even though Swift and Kylie allegedly aren’t the best of friends, “the love between them is legit.” And, a second source told the Daily Mail that the “Opalite” singer and Kylie are “starting to [get closer]” as Swift and Kelce’s special day approaches.
In early April 2026, Kylie even slammed fans for constantly asking her for the inside scoop about Swift and Kelce’s wedding. “Quit asking me and me and my mother-in-law about upcoming nuptials,” she said on the April 2 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast. “Nobody’s f—ing telling you anything.”
Kylie repeatedly confirmed she doesn’t “have any details,” adding, “Even if I did have any information, I’m not f—ing telling you. That’s private information … private information between family.”
