Details about Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce are allegedly continuing to leak online, with the latest being her wedding dress designer. On May 14, 2026, The Daily Mail published a photo of Swift’s bodyguard was seen outside her New York City apartment, carrying a Stella McCartney white garment bag and tote bag.

While it remains unclear whether McCartney has actually designed the pop star’s wedding dress, it’s worth noting that they are longtime friends. Swift has worn McCartney’s designs on multiple occasions over the years, including on the Evermore and Folklore album covers. The pair also collaborated on the 2019 Stella x Taylor capsule collection.

For her wedding dress, Swift has reportedly drawn inspiration from Elizabeth Taylor and the gown she wore when she married Conrad Hilton in May 1950. The Grammy-winning artist has made it clear she’s a fan of Taylor, going as far as to dedicate a song to the actress on her 2025 album The Life Of A Showgirl.

“Taylor spent so much time looking at old photos of Elizabeth Taylor when she was making her music video for that song that she became enamored with the movie queen’s style,” a source told The Daily Mail in April 2026. “’So when she started thinking about her wedding dress, she looked up Elizabeth’s old gowns online.”

The “Love Story” singer seemingly fell in love with the gown because it was “so flattering,” and she “liked how it was old-fashioned and came in at the waistline, plus the lace detailing.”

Swift is rumored to have commissioned six different wedding dresses, and she still figured out which one she’ll actually wear on her and Kelce’s special day. “There are multiple gowns standing by,” an insider told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack in May 2026. “Taylor could wear one dress the entire night, or she could change several times. At this point, every option is on the table.”

“Some of the dresses are deliberate decoys,” they explained. “The goal is to confuse people, stop leaks, and make sure nobody figures out the real look ahead of time.”

Another source revealed that “every designer involved signed ironclad NDAs. No photos, no sketches, no fitting details — absolutely nothing is allowed to leak. Taylor wants complete control over the reveal.”
