Blake Lively is ready to move on after settling her years-long It Ends With Us lawsuit with director and co-star Justin Baldoni. According to Globe, Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, are reportedly eager to “get away” from Hollywood and start fresh somewhere else.

“Blake and Ryan are desperate for a fresh start away from all the stress and misery that’s totally taken over their lives,” a source told the outlet. “Even if they wind up doing it for a temporary period, they want to get away and clear their heads.”

The couple, who got married in 2012 and share four kids, seem interested in packing their bags and heading across the pond for a while. An insider revealed that Lively and Reynolds “own a home in Europe, which has become a perfect asylum from the endless noise,” and though they’ll likely never officially leave the U.S., it just “makes sense for them to relocate for a while, get away from all the sniping and work to rebuild their reputations.”

This follows reports that Lively settled her legal drama with Baldoni to save her marriage. A source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack that Reynolds ”pushed” for a settlement, adding that he knew ”the longer this dragged on, the more it would erode everything—her career, her reputation, even their closest relationships.”

“The realization hit her all at once,” an insider added. “She had already lost too much—professionally, personally, publicly. The one thing she refused to lose was her marriage.”

The messy battle had “taken a lot out of” Lively, a source told the Daily Mail in April 2026, and her marriage suffered. They claimed she and Reynolds were “not as playful as they used to be,” almost as if “a light has dimmed” in their relationship.

“I think it’s just too much for her,” the insider said at the time. “I don’t think they’re being very social these days. No one is saying they have problems, but they’re just preoccupied and I think it’s all about the case. It’s stressful.”
