Beatrice & Eugenie Fear Inheriting Fergie’s Debt as They ’Beg’ Her to Stop Spending on Her ‘Maxed Out’ Credit Cards
Reports suggesting Sarah Ferguson has stepped back from public life to protect her family are being met with skepticism from within her own circle. According to sources, her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, are reportedly worried they could end up inheriting her growing pile of debt.
Fergie has been hiding out at a luxury chalet in Austria, which a source told Heat World is costing her around $2700 per night. She’s also been “spending money like there’s no tomorrow,” as she feels “entitled to the high life” since she’s going through a really difficult time.
“Her excuse is that she’s in a crisis and she needs this pampering; that it’s for her mental health,” the source said.
This alleged “pampering” includes spending money on “bottle after bottle of expensive champagne and whoever she can rope in to join her. And when she’s not enjoying a few drinks she’s at the spa getting massages and body wraps and facials.”
The source added that Fergie’s “had butlers bringing her room service and has been enjoying the full use of facilities including spa treatments, laundry services and occasional forays onto the slopes.”
Because of this level of spending, Fergie’s credit cards “have taken an absolute hammering.” The insider explained to Heat World that the former royal has been “racking up an enormous amount of debt in the meantime,” and Beatrice and Eugenie allegedly fear they will have to step in and help support her financially.
“Andrew isn’t going to hand over a dime to cover her bills so it’s all going on her credit cards which are already maxed out,” they continued. “It’s so frustrating for her girls because they could be the ones that have to bail her out.”
The source added that Beatrice and Eugenie are “begging” Fergie to “face the facts and adjust her life accordingly”—but she refuses to listen to them. “She’s in total denial mode,” they claimed. “More than anything else, Sarah sees no reason why she should have to rein it in.”
The insider went on to say that Fergie’s “is confident she’ll be able to pull a rabbit out of a hat when push comes to shove, and right now money appears to be the least of her concerns. She’s fully focused on taking care of number one.”
