It’s been deemed the “most successful dating show in the world,” resulting in more than 250 marriages and 500 children. So, the number of Farmer Wants a Wife couples that are still going strong might pleasantly surprise you.
The hit reality dating show first debuted in the UK in 2001 and has since been developed in several countries around the world, including Australia, Canada, and the United States. It centers on farmers—who find it difficult to find love because of their isolating professions—are introduced to women from the city as potential life partners.
“In a trend that’s been sweeping America over the last few years, there’s been a migration from city centers to suburban and rural locales, and with that, love follows,” a press release from FOX reads.
As the franchise continues to grow, fans are eager to know: Which couples from the major international Farmer Wants a Wife spinoffs are still together? Spoiler alert: None of the US couples are still together.

Nathan Smothers chose Taylor BeDell in the finale episode of Farmer Wants A Wife season 2 of the US version, but they seemingly parted ways. Taste of Country revealed in an August 2025 report that rumors of a breakup surfaced when Nathan wrote on Instagram, “Not every story has a fairytale ending.”

Mitchell Kolinsky chose Sydney Errera on Farmer Wants A Wife season 2 of the US version. They seemingly had an instant connection, but by the end of 2025, they called it quits.
Sydney confirmed the news on TikTok in February 2026, revealing that she moved back home and “really got to reflect on our relationship.”
“I can confidently say that Mitchell and I gave our relationship 110 percent. More than I’ve ever given to anything in my life,” she explained, adding that they were on “good terms” and “there’s no bad blood between us.”

Colton Hendricks and Zoe Green announced their breakup shortly after the season 3 finale aired in May 2025, and he started dating Cassie McCowan. The two announced their engagement in early November 2025 and got married a month later.
“What a beautiful day with family and friends,” the couple wrote on Instagram in December 2025 alongside photos from their wedding. “Thank you to everyone who could come and celebrate with us. Thank you to our family who made this happen.”

Jay and Grace confirmed that they’re no longer together. Grace responded to TikTok comments about her single life.“I am sure the long distance played a factor,” she replied, “It didn’t.” Someone else also wrote, “No one should ever make you feel like it’s a crime or bad thing to be close to your mom,” to which Clark responded, “So grateful for the relationship I have with my momma.”
She also captioned another TikTok, “Maybe it’s my fault for not addressing the why but these moms in the facebook groups are ruthless acting like they know exactly why we broke up and it being because I’m ‘too immature’ or ‘co-dependent with my mommy’ that’s NOT why we broke up but I’m protecting my peace.”

In a now-deleted Instagram post on Aug. 16, 2025, John confirmed their breakup according to Parade: “I would like to share that Claire and I ended our relationship shortly after Lollapalooza, over a week ago.”
“This was a mutual decision based on private challenges, and had nothing to do with any reposts,” he continued. “While I’ll always appreciate and respect the time we shared together, I feel it’s best to move forward separately. While our relationship was public, I wish for this chapter to remain as private as possible.”
Us Weekly reported that Claire shared the breakup announcement on her Instagram Stories, writing, “I ain’t reading all that but ditto.”

Matt confirmed he and Chelsi were still together with an Instagram post after the Farmer Wants a Wife Season 3 finale, which included multiple photos of them throughout filming. “Never thought that view could get better,” he captioned the post. Chelsi, for her part, also seemed to confirm she and Matt were still together with her own Instagram post of him and her friends after filming ended.
As of writing, it seems Matt and Chelsi broke up, as they no longer follow each other on social media.

In January 2026, Doug Groenendijk announced on Instagram that he and Meghan Russell are officially married. He shared photos from their special day, captioning the sweet post, “Just married!!! Excited to spend my life with you!”
Doug proposed on April 12, 2025, and Meghan told the Vancouver Sun that she “had absolutely no idea” because he had spun a lie about the Farming for Love team returning to film them as a way to throw her off.
“They said that they were going to do some kind of reunion where they were just catching up with each of the couples from, our season and season 2, and it would just be a couple hours, an interview,” she explained.” They had set up here at the farm, flowers everywhere. They kept asking us questions and then Doug got into a little spiel, saying all these things. And then next thing I knew, he was down on one knee.”
She added that they “didn’t go ring shopping” at all, but Doug still “picked out the right one.”

Chris Newsome and Kim Tierney, from Australia’s first season (2007) of Farmer Wants A Wife, are still together—their wedding was filmed for season two in 2008 and they now have a son and daughter together.

Rob Hodges and Jo Fincham got together on season two (2008) of Australia’s Farmer Wants A Wife and they’re still together today. In fact, they celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary on March 26, 2024 and they have three kids.
“I never thought in a million years that I would spend my days living on a farm and have three children,” Jo told New Idea in 2020. “But now, I just couldn’t live back in the city; there’s no way I could adjust back to city living. It’s just such a beautiful lifestyle [here].”

In season three of Australia’s Farmer Wants A Wife (2009), Damian Atkins and Rachael Peynenborg fell in love and years later, they’re still going strong. They got married and now have three kids.

Scott Warby and Clare Spark, from season four (2009) of Australia’s Farmer Wants A Wife, are still going strong after 15 years. They have two children together, Elsie and Fraser.
“He always brings me wildflowers from the paddock and takes me on little getaways,” Clare revealed in a 2020 interview with TV Week. “Appearing on Farmer Wants A Wife worked out very well for us.” The gifting goes both ways, as Scott said, “She surprised me with a new golf buggy recently.”

Brad Crane and Stacie Marmion from season four of Farmer Wants A Wife (2009) are still going strong after 15 years. He proposed after six months of dating, and they now have three children: Darcie, Bobbie, and Frankie.
“I didn’t think there would be much chance of finding a bloody wife on national television. I still can’t believe my luck,” he said at the time, in an interview with Woman’s Day (per Digital Spy).

Nathan McClymont popped the question to Amanda Ecker in the season 5 finale of Australia’s Farmer Wants A Wife and she said yes. They’re now happily married and have three kids. “Mason is a football nut, just like his dad; they go to all the Eagles games together,” Amanda told Mamamia, speaking about her children. “Ben loves to swim and ride his bike. He’s a little entertainer.”

From Australia’s Farmer Wants A Wife season 7, 2011, Frank Atherton and Tenille Jolly are still together after 13 years. They’re married and share one child, son Oliver.

In November 2021, they announced they were moving in together. “After exactly 11 months of long-distance and a million lockdowns later, today has finally arrived. So excited to start this next chapter with my love, starting with a big ol’ house reno on our brand spankin new property! (Well, new to us),” she wrote on Instagram.
In August 2023, the couple announced they were engaged. “Farmer Wants A Wife,” they wrote in the caption. Sometime in March 2024, they were married, because Jess shared on Instagram that “Mr and Mrs Guthrie honeymooning hard.”
By November 2025, Jess and Andrew announced they were expecting their first child together. In a joint Instagram post, they wrote, “We’re so grateful to share that our little miracle is on the way. Holding close in our hearts anyone still waiting, hoping, and navigating their own journey.”

Harry Lloyd and Tess Brookman hit it off on season 12 of Australia’s Farmer Wants A Wife (2022) and have been going strong ever since. ”If I’m honest, Tess, I’m in love with you, and I wanna be with you,” Harry told Tess in the finale.
In March 2026, Harry and Tess got engaged at Mitchelton Winery in Nagambie, Victoria. They explained the proposal to Woman’s Day, with Harry revealing that he “organized a cover story” and told Tess they were going to have lunch with one of their friends, only for the friend to cancel last-minute.
As the staff got to work rearranging the tables, Harry took “Tess down to the river and I proposed to her there.”
“I think I said yes before he’d even asked the question,” Tess said. “He went down on one knee and popped out this ring that was sitting in a little cowboy hat – that was the ring box. So cute, and so Harry, if you know him! The ring was gorgeous and I was so caught up in that moment that I was so surprised when our friend, who I thought wasn’t there, popped out from behind a tree and she’d recorded the whole thing.”

In April 2026, they welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Willa Mae McMahon. They announced her birth on Instagram, sharing four black-and-white photos of the newborn alongside the caption, “To have you in our arms is an indescribable feeling – we love you.”

Andrew Coleman and Claire Saunders from season 13 of Australia’s Farmer Wants A Wife are no longer together. Claire revealed in an October 2024 interview with Who that she and Andrew called off their wedding just a few months before they were set to exchange vows.
“I cancelled the wedding in July. You can’t make someone marry you,” she said. “He wanted some space so I went to Darwin for the dry season and the wheels really fell off after that. We’re not in contact now at all. It’s been a terrible time.”
She added, “I never thought of my life away from Andrew and the farm when I was there. It’s the only time in my life I’ve not had a plan B. It’s not been easy but breakups are not easy, especially when you really love someone.”
