What’s On My Vanity: Taylor Droddy, Beauty High Contributor

My vanity is, technically, not a vanity at all. Since moving into my new super-tiny apartment I’ve been forced to become somewhat of a minimalist when it comes to product. I keep everything I use daily on my windowsill-turned-vanity. It’s actually turned out to be a pretty good setup – everyone knows natural light is best for applying makeup!

Polishes and hair products live in one corner. I basically only use Moroccanoil products on my hair – it makes it so soft and the scent is unbeatable.Since I like to change up my nail color once or twice a week, it’s good to have a variety close enough to grab. I keep my current faves in this vintage glass jar. (Confession: the latch on the giant box that stores the rest of my polish broke the last time I tried closing it. I may have a problem.)

In the other corner, I have my daily makeup stashed in a go-bag in case I need to take it on the run when running late. Brushes, extra mascaras and lip stains ended up in a coffee cup stashed beside my perfume and makeshift garden. As for fragrance, I tend to stick to one scent until I get tired of it. Lately I’ve been on a Narcisco Rodriguez kick. It’s always the last thing I do before I head out the door.
