Bogg Bags are everywhere right now and are one of the “it” bags of spring and summer. I personally own three and use them for everything from the farmer’s market to the park to the beach to travel, and I can’t get enough of their fun colors, versatile design, and spacious construction. But although I’m completely obsessed, these bags aren’t cheap, so when I saw the Costco Bogg Bag dupe on Instagram, I was immediately intrigued.
The Costco Bogg Bag (aka, the Beachcomber Bag) features a similar style for just $50, and it’s so popular that it seems to sell out online and in-store every year. But, we’re all in luck because the members-only warehouse just restocked it in seven fun colorways—though some hues are already out of stock, so you’ll want to add them to your cart ASAP. And, if you happen to miss this drop, or want some cheaper alternatives, there are plenty of other Bogg Bag dupes out there, including an Amazon Bogg Bag lookalike and a Mickey-shaped Bogg style bag we’re eyeing for the warmer months.
Since these trendy bags have a ton of structure to them, there are so many uses. I use my larger one for the beach, pool, and park, and it can fit all of my essentials, plus a blanket or towel, sun hat, and a book. The medium one is great for everyday wear, and I also use it to carry my laptop and needlepoint or crochet projects when traveling. The mini Bogg bag is one of my favorites, and I use it as a casual purse—I also think it’d work well as a reusable gift basket for teachers, an Easter basket, etc. When they’re not in use, I utilize the structural design and fill the Bogg Bags with other totes and purses and tuck them away on a shelf in my closet.
While I do think they’re worth the splurge, Bogg Bags come with a higher price tag compared to other totes and catch-all bags. If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative and have your heart set on the Costco Bogg Bag dupe, you’re in luck. There are so many alternatives out there, including an Amazon Bogg Bag lookalike that is similar to my favorite medium Bogg Bag for just $50. Find the best Bogg Bag dupes ahead.
