Some things send a very clear message, particularly when you’re a teenager. And social media is one of those. So, we can safely assume from the latest from Sunday Rose, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s daughter, that she’s taken her mother’s side in the divorce.

According to Sky News Australia, the teenager, who is 17, recently unfollowed her father on Instagram. Ouch. She still follows her mother on the social media platform, and her father still follows her. But clicking unfollow is a choice, particularly when she was likely aware that it would be reported everywhere.

Back in March, Rob Shuter reported on his Naughty But Nice Substack that both Sunday Rose and Urban’s other daughter, Faith Margaret , had “essentially cut off contact with Keith.” A source said that the situation had been “building for a while.”

In a March interview with Elle Australia, Sunday Rose was also very complimentary of her mother and did not mention her father at all. “I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences and especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age,” she said. “My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do.”

Even back then, the reports were that Urban didn’t take the snub well. “He’s trying to put on a brave front,” a source told Australian outlet New Idea, adding that Urban felt “like he doesn’t exist.”

“He knows he has to be patient; however, this latest snub – so publicly, there in black and white – has stumped him,” the source also added.

All of this comes after a source told RadarOnline in March that Urban was “desperate” to win back his kids. “Keith’s tour has kept him apart from the girls a lot more than he would like. As it is, he had to concede the majority of custody time to Nicole,” the insider said. “According to their divorce agreement, he only has Sunday Rose and Faith every other weekend, but when he’s touring, even that doesn’t work.”

The source added, “They’re used to long stretches away from Keith, who’s always been a working musician, but it’s tough. Keith is anxious to line up this trip with a break in the girls’ school schedule, so they can spend proper, relaxed time together.”

Now, that looks like it won’t happen. The Daily Mail reported that the really isn’t much communication happening between Urban and his ex. “Nicole and Keith don’t really communicate,” a source said. “Things got really bad at the end of their relationship and haven’t rebounded.” He wanted “to live the single life,” and it left Kidman feeling like she didn’t “know him at all anymore.”

According to court documents obtained by People, both Kidman and Urban agreed during the divorce that their daughters will live with Kidman at their primary residence 306 days out of the year. Urban was granted 59 days out of the year. He’s also allowed to spend every other weekend with his daughters, from 10 a.m. on Saturday morning to 6 p.m. on Sunday evening.
